 ...to our home away-from-home, a mountain chalet set amidst the mile-high natural splendor of Vancouver Island's only four-season alpine village. Chalet 54 is a large house situated in the Alpine Village at Mt. Washington with views of beautiful Strathcona Provincial Park and the ski runs. It is only 30 minutes drive to the ocean for a day at the beach. In winter ski-in and ski-out and enjoy the excellent skiing both downhill and cross country.   In the summer the resort hosts numerous festivals and activities from music to wine tasting. As well there is excellent hiking and mountain biking to be enjoyed.
